Show Up. Play. See What Happens.

Whiteboard Jam is Rock Garage’s weekly drop-in band night for adults and advanced teens. Every Tuesday, you rotate through different lineups, try new songs, and meet the players who might become your next bandmates.

Every Tuesday at 9:45 PM
Ready to Jam?

No Band Needed. Just Bring Your Instrument.

You’ve been playing for years. Maybe your last band fell apart. Maybe you’ve never played with other people but you’re ready to try. Maybe you just want a weekly outlet without the commitment of joining a full band.

That’s exactly what Whiteboard Jam is for.

Every Tuesday night at Rock Garage, we run a drop-in session where adult players rotate through different lineups. Rock Garage handles the logistics. You show up, get matched with other players, try a few songs, and see where the chemistry is. Some nights it’s just a great jam. Some nights you find your people.

$20 per Jam Session. The first one's on us!

No pressure. No audition. No commitment. Just music.

Who It's For

What You Get When You Show Up

A Room Full of Real Players

Play with others, try songs you might not have played or even heard before, and find out what happens when you stop playing alone.

Zero Pressure to Commit

No setlist you have to memorize. No rehearsals to make. No audition standing between you and a stage.

People Ready to Rock

Sometimes it's magical, sometimes it's a little messy. Either way, it's always fun, and you're jamming with other people.

If that sounds like something you want, the door is open on Tuesdays.

How It Works

Here's What. to Expect.

Every Tuesday, musicians of all levels gather at Rock Garage at 9:45 PM to jam together. The session runs about an hour.

Show up Tuesday night

Just show up at 9:45pm. No signup required. Just bring your instrument (guitar, bass, keyboard, drumsticks, microphone). All the amps, drums, and PA are provided.

Everyone Plays Here

Rock Garage gives musicians of all instruments and skill levels the opportunity to play. You show up, you get the full hour to play.

Try new songs with new people

We pull from a rotating list of songs that work across skill levels and styles. You might know some of them already. You might be learning one on the spot. Either way, that’s the fun.

Meet your future bandmates

Whiteboard Jam is where a lot of our Adult Band Program groups started. Players meet, feel the chemistry, and decide to make it official. It’s the best audition that doesn’t feel like one.

“It started with jam sessions, then voice lessons, and now I’m playing different venues all over town. Pretty cool!”

“Come to jam night, come to the gigs. It’s an awesome, cool, and supportive environment.”
– Mark
“What surprised me was how quickly I came out of my comfort zone. I’d always wanted to play with others but was always nervous. A few jam sessions and then a band really changed that.”

Adult Band Program

Whiteboard Jam is the no-commitment way in. If you find your people and want to take it further, the Adult Band Program is the next step. It puts you in a committed band with players at your level. You pick your songs together, rehearse weekly in a pro room with a music director, and build toward a real performance on stage. A lot of Adult Band Program groups started right here on a Tuesday night.

Private Lessons

If you’d rather sharpen your individual playing first, private lessons are available too. Work one-on-one with an instructor on your technique, your goals, and the specific things holding you back. Then bring those gains back to Tuesday nights.
